Would you like to help us along the way? We welcome any kind of support. You can get involved in one of the following ways:
- become a member and do voluntary work with us
- cooperate as a doctor/psychologist/midwife/physiotherapist and treat patients contacting us in your office
- provide legal counsel, especially regarding refugee rights
- translate for patients during appointments
- donate money to support our work
Become a member of MediNetz Dresden e.V.
Yeyy… Maybe you are interested into volunteering with us? We are always looking for new members who want to help us, distributing the workload! That you can get an idea of what we do, we listed some routines below. But easiest would be, to get to know each other by joining one of our organizing meetings!
- Answering the MediNetz phone calls (arrange appointments for patients that they can get the help they need)
- Work in public relations i.e. organize workshops, plan communications to the public to raise awareness for our patients
- Fundraising
- Contributing content to or designing flyers, posters or the website
- Maintain relations to our network of doctors
- Political work
- Support us when we organize the national meeting of Medinetze in Germany in Dresden next year!
Don’t be afraid of reaching out! We are a wildly mixed group of people including students, retirees and employed people of every kind of jobs! You do not need any medical expertise!
To get a better impression of us. Come and join one of our organizing meetings, every Wednesday 7 p.m. at Dammweg 5, 01097 Dresden at Sächsischer Flüchtlingsrat. Just get in touch via our phone or per mail!
Cooperate as a health care worker providing treatment
We are always looking for new doctors, midwifes, physiotherapists and nurses who want to provide medical treatment to our patients. Currently, we are looking especially for general doctors, urologists, psychiatrist, surgeons, psychotherapists and gynocologists!
If you would be concerned, regarding the number of patients or something else. Do not hesitate to ask and reach out. We are glad about every help we could get! Every! We are able to provide financial compensations for any expenses you may have i.e. lab costs/radiology exams.

I would like to donate money to enable your important work
We are a charity organiziation, meaning money donations to us can be tax deducted. The donations are going to 100% into enabling medical care for our clients. We need money to be also able to pay for costly treatments like in-patient hospital stays, childbirth, surgery but also for medicine, lab or radiology exams.
